EXTENDED SCHOOLS

Extended schools have been established to build upon the good work developed by many schools and organisations, which have realised the need to engage with parents and their community, to enable children and young people to gain maximum benefit from their education. We at Cedar Lodge are part of that initiative.

We now provide a range of services and activities before, during and after the school day to help meet the needs of children, families and the wider community. These include:

  1. A school counselling service
  2. Alternative therapies
  3. Development of a healthy eating recipe book by Yr7 pupils
  4. Breakfast Club
  5. Parent information sessions to raise awareness of support agencies and the role of the school
  6. IFA school football program - Grassroots Football

We hope to extend the range of activities on offer.
