MUSIC
Music is offered to pupils from Year 1 through to Year 12 and provides the opportunity to explore a wide range of musical styles and cultures, primarily though practical music making.
Pupils’ enjoyment is fostered through the development of their singing, instrumental, aural and social skills, as well as developing their self discipline and self confidence; while performing both as soloists and as integral members of an ensemble.
In addition to performing in class, pupils are encouraged to contribute to the positive school ethos by singing in weekly assemblies and participating in events such as the Harvest concert and prize giving ceremonies.
